Michael Plexousakis

Michael Plexousakis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics of the University of Crete. He got his B. Sc. degree (1987) from the Department of Mathematicss of the University of Crete and a M. Sc. from the Department of Mathematics of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In 1996 he completed his Ph. D. at the same department, working under the supervision of Ohannes Karakashian. He has been a post-doctoral fellow in the TMR network "Viscosity Solutions and their Applications" in the Department of Mathematics of the University of Milan (Feb. 1999 - Dec. 1999) and in the Department of Numerical Analysis and Computer Science of the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm (Feb. 2000 - Dec. 2001), an adjunct Assistant Professor of the Department of Applied Mathematics of the University of Crete, from Sep. 2002 to Aug. 2005, and a staff member with the duties of systems manager, from Dec. 2003 to Jun. 2010.
