The Department of Applied
Mathematics of the University of Crete
and the Institute of Applied and
Computational Mathematics of the Foundation
for Research and Technology at Heraklion (FORTH) are organising a conference
with title: "Mathematical challenges motivated by multi-phase materials: Analytical, stochastic and discrete aspects" to be held in Anogia Academic Village, Crete
The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers from Analysis, Stochastics and Mechanics for the development of novel analysis methods concerning materials that undergoing phase-change. The conference is mainly sponsored by the European Commission under the Marie Curie International Reintegration Grant (IRG) within the 7th European Community Framework Programme (MIRG-CT-2007-200526). It is also sponsored by the Department of Applied Mathematics of the University of Crete and the Institute of Applied and Computational Mathematics of the Foundation for Research and Technology at Heraklion (FORTH).
